Yesterday, I headed into the fog and mist of the Blue Ridge. I parked the truck and walked the last half mile through the snow to pick up a book that arrived from Australia on Tuesday, Picasso’s The Burial of the Count of Orgaz & other poems. It’s amazing how a good snowfall affects sound. A cardinal and a bluejay. A barking dog. A neighbor shoveling snow.
